Hey!! My name is Dawn and I was born and live in Mississippi. I’m married to Christopher. We have been together more of our life than we haven’t. This May will be 10 years that we have been married. However, it seems just like yesterday that our outdoor wedding got pushed inside because of what felt like a hurricane that invaded our day.
I believe in the saying “time flies when your having fun.” Older people use to always say that time seems to go by faster and faster the older you get…and gosh it seems that way. It’s almost like blink and you will miss it.
Our favorite place in the whole world to travel is Turks and Caicos. It is were we can go, relax, and forget about anything else. A place where time seems to go a little slower.
I mean they have the top beaches in the world and fabulous food… so what’s not to love.
Turks and Caicos started out the center of my blog but I recently changed the name because I discuss all things I love on my blog…not just Turks and Caicos. However, I promise it will still look like Turks and Caicos threw up on my blog…but in a pretty kind of throw up way.

I love cookies and chips and salsa – not together…well maybe some chips and salsa and then cookies!
We love to cook so most nights we are in the kitchen cooking together while taking turns playing our favorite old and new songs on YouTube. After supper and weather permitting, we are outside riding around our land on the golf cart or at the country club so he can play golf…I’m pretty terrible so I just watch. I prefer hot over cold…cold weather sucks.
Lily, our Maltese is a big part of our life. I got her my second year of college and she has been right by my side every since. Who knew you could love an animal so much. She just turned 12 and it scares me to even think about her being this old.
On our first ever trip to Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos we met this fabulous older couple that was on the island because their daughter was getting married. They had lost a son at some point and while sitting out in the water one day they told us to “make every second seem like a day.” That quote has stuck with me!! So, as each day goes by…laugh, cry, live, love, try new things, travel often AND…
